The Royal Rumble Begins

I had spent a good few weeks before the day collecting cardboard boxes in the intention of building a ring within the flat as a centre piece to the event. I could not of predicted how much of a key part the the ring played on the entirely outcome of the party.

The stacked level of cardboard added a bounce to your step as you were inclosed by cardboard tubes in each corner and surrounded with a blue rope. it only took a cheering excitable crowd and a few beers until havoc was unleashed and our own royal rumble had began with our very own mighty maulers.

ROUND 1

Le Gimp VS Summer of Love

A truly epic Beginning to Mighty Maulers. Introducing Jon Place as Summer of Love and Jonny Estgate as Le Gimp. The crowd went wild as battle commenced between the two legends, re creating signature moves of WF in a adrenaline pumped brawl.

Rambo Jackson gets into some trouble but luckly his good friend the bandit arrives to help him out. Although Tim Trash was also around to watch Gypo Scums back.

the fight begins to get out of hand and ref is called upon to get involved to deal with this madness by the only way these wrestlers know...by force!

The ring post went down as good weapon of choice.

Mighty Mauler Packs

The wanted items of the evening that i was giving away free to everyone that attended and made effort on costume.

I made a total of 40 packs that where 2 colour screen printed envelops. The envelopes contained a 16 page mini mighty mauler booklet which i had comprised of photographic moments from the actual book. The packs also included a single A4 screen print ranging from 3 to 4 colours, there was 5 possible prints to get and the prints where put into packs at random.

I wanted the packs as something people could take back home from the party to admire and remember the good time they had.

Champion title Belts

As a way of getting people involved in dressing up for the event i design life sized wrestler belts. These acted as pieces of costume as well as the idea of being like name badges where people could walk round and display there wrestler name.

The belts where made up of 3 separate A3 sheets that people needed to stick together. to act as a wearable belt i left them blank to allow people to be able too colour in and customise their belt to their liking.
